To find:

Find the value of cosec theta & sin theta.

Solution:

We know that,

 =  > cot\theta =  \frac{B}{P}

cot \theta =  \frac{8}{15}  =  \frac{B}{P}

Using the Pythagoras Theorem:

(Hypotenuse)²=(base)²+(perpendicular)²

=) H² = B² + P²

=) H² = 8² + 15²

=) H² = 64 + 225

=) H² = 289

=) H² = 17²

=) H = 17

Now,

cosec \theta =  \frac{H}{P}  \\  \\  =  >  \frac{17}{15}  \\ and  \\  =  > sin \theta =  \frac{P}{H}  \\  \\  =  >  \frac{15}{17}
