If cotton is stored in improper condition then the water holding capacity of the cotton will be changed in the following way -

• If the environment where we store the cotton is full of humid. Then the cotton will soak that environmental humid and the water holding capabilities will be decreased.

• If the environment where we store the cotton is completely dry. Then the cotton will stay dry and the water holding abilities will stay intact.
