we know that

1) DX =36 & 2) DY=45

Now,

from 1)

DX=36

* 3X=36

* X=12

So.. DX=36

D×12=36

D=3

and from 2)

Dy=45

3×y=45

y = 15

we get x= 12 y =15

L.H.S

DX =36

3×12 =36

36 =36 R.H.S

L.H.S= R.H.S
