P(not E) is equal to 4/7.

Given - P(E)

Find - P(not E)

Solution - As we know, sum of the probability of occurence of an event and probability of not occurence of an event is 1.

P(E) + P(not E) = 1

P(not E) = 1 - 3/7

Taking LCM we get 7

P(not E) =  \frac{(1  \times  7) - 3}{7}

P(not E) =  \frac{7 - 3}{7}

P(not E) =  \frac{4}{7}

Hence, P(not E) is 4/7.
