Answer : It's surface area is increased by 4 times.
Solution :
Let the edge of cube be x at starting.
So, Surface area = 6 a² = 6 x² .
Each edge of cube is doubled.
Edge of the cube = 2x.
Surface area = 6 ( 2x) ² = 24x²
Therefore, Surface area increased by 4 times when edge is doubled.
