if each edge of a cube of volume V is doubled then find the volume of the new cube

Let originally edge of cube be a

∴ volume = a³ (Volume of cube = Side³)

Now, after being doubled, Edge of new cube is 2a

∴ Volume of new cube = (2a)³ = 8a³

∴ New Volume will be 8 times the old volume
