Let the Innitial side of the cube be A cm.

Innitial Volume = A^3 cubic centimetres.

Now, side = 2A cm.

Final volume = 8A^3 cubic centimetres.

Ratio of final volume by inital volume = 8

Answer:

Because,

Volume of cube=a^3.....1

Volume=(2a)^3

Volume=8a^3

Volume =8×a^3

From 1,

Volume=8×previous volume.

So,If each side of a cube is doubled then its volume will be increased by eight times.

Hope it helps you....
