Let each edge of cube be x
Increased 50%=x+50x/100
=x+1x/2=x (1+1/2)
=3x/2
S1=6a^2
S2=6×(3/2x)^2
=27x^2/2
Increase in area=27x^2/2-6x^2
(27x^2-12x^2)/2
=15x^2/2
Increasing%= increase in area of cube / original surface area of cube×100
=15x^2/2×6x^2×100
=125% ans .
