let the one side=x
the other side=y
the last side=z
given x+10+y+10+z+10/x+y+z=5/4
4x+40+4y+40+4z+40=5x+5y+5z
x+y+z=120

Hope it helps....!!!

_____________

Let, the sides of the triangle be x, y and z respectively.

Old perimeter = x + y + z

New sides = x+10, y+10, z+10

New perimeter = {(x+10) + (y+10) + (z+10) = x + y + z + 30

According to question -

(x + y + z + 30) / ( x + y + z) = 5/4

=> 4x + 4y + 4z + 120 = 5x + 5y + 5z

=> 5x - 4x + 5y - 4y + 5z - 4z = 120

=>  x + y + z = 120

Thus the perimeter of given triangle is 120 cm.
