\bigstar Solution :

\bigstar Given :

  • If each side of a triangle is increased by 4 cm and the ratio of the perimeters of the new triangle and the  given triangle is 7:5

\bigstar To Find :

  • Perimeter of the triangle .

\bigstar Answer :

\star Let the sides of the triangle be x , y , z .

\star So the sides of the new triangle be x + 4 , y + 4 , z + 4.

\star A/c to the given condition , ' Ratio of the perimeters of the new triangle and the  given triangle is 7:5 '

      =>\frac{x+4+y+4+z+4}{x+y+z}=\frac{7}{5}  \\\\=>\frac{x+y+z+12}{x+y+z}= \frac{7}{5}\\\\=>5(x+y+z+12)=7(x+y+z)\\\\=>5x+5y+5z+60=7x+7y+7z\\\\=>2x+2y+2z=60\\\\=>2(x+y+z)=60\\\\=>x+y+z=30

\star Hence the perimeter of the given triangle is 30 cm.
