Let the sides of the triangle = x,y,z

Given that each side of the triangle is increased by 4cm = (x + 4), (y + 4), (z + 4).

Given that the perimeter of the new triangle and given triangle is 7:5.

= \ \textgreater \ \frac{(x + 4) + (y + 4) + (z + 4)}{x + y + z} = \frac{7}{5}

= \ \textgreater \ \frac{x + y + z + 4 + 4 + 4}{x + y + z} = \frac{7}{5}

= \ \textgreater \ \frac{x + y + z + 12}{x + y + z} = \frac{7}{5}

= \ \textgreater \ 5x + 5y + 5z + 60 = 7x + 7y + 7z

= > 5x - 5y - 5z - 7x - 7y - 7z = -60

= > -2x - 2y - 2z = -60

= > 2x + 2y + 2z = 60

= > 2(x + y + z) = 60

= > x + y + z = 60/2

= > x + y + z = 30.

Therefore, the perimeter of the given triangle = 30cm.

Hope this helps!

hey guy your answer is here:

let the perimeter of given triangle be x cm. as each side is increased by 4 cm so the perimeter is increased by (3*x)=12cm

according to the information x+12/x=7/5

5(x+12)=7(x)

5x+60=7x60=7x-5x

60=2x

x=30cm

thank you

hope it helps you out
