if electrons and protons have equal charges each other then in nucleus there is presence of protons and neutrons, then what will happen with neutrons?

first thing is that the elcectrons and protons can not have equal charges . but if both have equal charges then the atom will not be oxidize and it will result in Bond breakage of atom.may it be result in the increase of Numbers of neutrons.
