The basic formula i.e. E=hc/λ, which is used to determine the energy of the photon.

  • The above shows that the energy is inversely proportional to the wavelength.
  • Therefore, blue has more wavelength than the yellow light.
  • That's why the blue light shows less energy and yellow light shows more energy of light.
