To Find : s in m/s.​

Solution:

Distance = Speed x Time

Case  1:  if Each distance = 450 m

then  Time = 450/s  + 450/2s  

=  450/s  + 225/s

= 675/s  

675/s  = 30

=> s = 675/30

=> s = 22.5 m/s

Case 2:  if Total distance = 450 m

Then Each distance = 450/2 = 225  m

then  Time = 225/s  +225/2s  

=  450/2s  + 225/2s

= 675/2s  

675/2s  = 30

=> s = 675/60

=> s = 11.25 m/s
