Step-by-step explanation:

Given :-

a = 3/4

b = -1/2

c = 2/3

To find :-

Find the following :

i)a+b

ii)a+b+c

iii)a-b

iv)a-b-c

v) a+b-c

Solution :-

Given that

a = 3/4

b = -1/2

c = 2/3

i) The value of a+b

=> (3/4)+(-1/2)

LCM of 4 and 2 = 4

=> [(3×1)+(-1×2)]/4

=> (3-2)/4

=> 1/4

Therefore, a+b = 1/4

ii) The value of a+b+c

=> (3/4)+(-1/2)+(2/3)

LCM of 4,2 and 3 = 12

=> [(3×3)+(-1×6)+(2×4)]/12

=> (9-6+8)/12

=> (17-6)/12

=> 11/12

Therefore, a+b+c = 11/12

iii) The value of a-b

=> (3/4)-(-1/2)

LCM of 4 and 2 = 4

=> [(3×1)-(-1×2)]/4

=> (3+2)/4

=> 5/4

Therefore, a-b = 5/4

iv) The value of a-b-c

=> (3/4)-(-1/2)-(2/3)

LCM of 4,2 and 3 = 12

=> [(3×3)-(-1×6)-(2×4)]/12

=> (9+6-8)/12

=> (15-8)/12

=> 7/12

Therefore, a+b+c = 7/12

v) The value of a+b-c

=> (3/4)+(-1/2)-(2/3)

LCM of 4,2 and 3 = 12

=> [(3×3)+(-1×6)-(2×4)]/12

=> (9-6-8)/12

=> (9-14)/12

=> -5/12

Therefore, a+b-c = -5/12

Answer:-

i) The value of a+b = 1/4

ii)The value of a+b+c = 11/12

iii) The value of a-b = 5/4

iv) The value of a-b-c = 7/12

v) The value of a+b-c = -5/12
