If equilateral triangles ABD and ACE are drawn on the sides AB and AC of a triangle ABC, then prove that CD = BE. With Diagram.

Consider the two triangles ACD and ABE,

AD= AB

AC=AE

Included angles :- DAC=60+A= BAE.

So triangles are congruent.
The third sides are equal,
DC=BE.
