R2 AND R3 IS IN PARALLEL
THEREFORE
Rp=2/2
Rp=1 ohm

after this all are in series so
equivalent resistance will be
= 2+2+2+1 ohm
= 7 ohm

by ohm's law

v = IR
I = V ÷ R
I = 5 ÷ 7
I = 0.7142857143 ampere

the current flow in the circuit will be 0.714A

given: V = 5V

R1= R2= R3 =R4 = R5 = 2ohm

to find: Current I = ?

solution:

As we can clearly observe from the circuit in the diagram that

R2 and R3 are connected in parallel and they both are in series with R1

resultant of R1,R2 and R3 is in series with R4 and R5.

therefore we have to find resultant resistance of the circuit

R' = (R2×R1)/(R2+R1)

R' = 4/4

R' = 1 ohm

Rs = R' + R1

= 1 + 2

= 3 ohm

now Rnet = Rs + R4 + R5

= 3 + 2 + 2

= 7 ohm

according to ohm's law

V = IR

therefore I = V / R

I = 5/7

I = 0.714A

hence current flow in the circuit will be 0.714 A
