f and g are two functions from r to r defined as f( x) = |x| - x and g( x)= |x| - x for x <0
From given, we have,
f( x) = |x| - x
for x <0
we have,
f (x) = -x - x
∴ f(x) = - 2x
g( x)= |x| - x
for x <0
we have,
g (x) = -x - x
∴ g(x) = - 2x
fog (x) = f (g(x)
= f(- 2x)
= -2 (-2x)
= 4x
∴ fog (x) for x < 0 = 4x.
Option (a) is correct.
