if f (x)=2x+5, then find f (x)+f (-x)​

Answer:

f(x) = 2x+5 (THIS IS GIVEN ALREADY AND WE HAVE TO FIND THE f(-x)

NOW,

f(-x) = 2×(-x) +5

= -2x+5

NOW, ( EQUATE THEM ACCORDING TO THE QUESTION)

THAT IS

=f(x) + f(-x)

= 2x+5 +(-2x) +5

=2x+5-2x+5

=2x-2x+5+5

(NOW 2x AND -2x WILL CUT )

= 5+5

= 10
