Solution :--

given here

f(x)=3x

g(x)=x+2

and ,

f o g(x) =18.

now,

fog(x)

=fo(x+2)

=3(x+2)

=3x+6

here

fog(x)=18,

so,

3x+6=18

=>3x=18-6

=>3x=12

=>x=12/3

=>x=4

Thus:-

value of x will be

= 4
