f(x) ≥  2  , if f(x) = Cos²x  + Sec²x

Step-by-step explanation:

f(x) = Cos²x  + Sec²x

Let say a  = Cos²x   & b = Sec²x

a & b are +ve numbers

as we know AM ≥ GM

=> (a + b)/2 ≥  ab

=> a + b ≥ 2ab

=> Cos²x + Sec²x  ≥ 2Cos²x * Sec²x

=> Cos²x + Sec²x  ≥ 2(Cosx * Secx)²

Cosx * Secx = 1

=> Cos²x + Sec²x  ≥  2

=> f(x) ≥  2
