By putting value of X in polynomial, we get,
K(-3)³ + 9(-3)² + 48(-3) - 8 - 20 = 0
=> k(-27) + 9(9) - 144 - 8 - 20 = 0
=> -27k + 81 - 172 = 0
=> -27k = - 81 + 172
=> -27k = 91
=> k = -91/27
Hence the value of K is (-91/27).
