Hi friend!!!!

given a=1

a2=-3

now, we know that d=a2-a

=-3-1

=-4

nth term of the series is a+(n-1)d

=1+(n-1)(-4)

=1-4n+4

=5-4n

I hope this will help u ;)

nth term =a+(n-1)d. =1(n-1)-3. =-3n+3 is the nth term of AP
