centroid of a triangle ABC =(x,y) =(x1+x2+x3/3,y1+y2+y3/3) co-ordinates of three vertices are (x1,y1),(x2,y2),(x3,y3) . it is given that A(-1,6) and B(5,-2) are (x1,y1) and (x2,y2) (-2,1)= (-1-5+x3/3,3+y3/3)=>-6 =-6+x3 and 3=3+y3 => x3=0 and y3=0. third vertex=(0,0). Hope it helps you...
