If g(x)=x2+3x+1 then show that g(x+1)−g(x)=2x+4?

Answer:

to show: g(x+1)−g(x)=2x+4

g(x+1)−g(x) = (x+1)²+3(x+1)+1 -x²-3x-1

                  = x²+2x+1+3x+3+1-x²-3x-1

                   =2x+4
