The basic concept of Nai Talim speaks that work and knowledge go hand in hand with each other and we need to work hard if we want to gain knowledge and again if we have knowledge, we can utilize it through our work. So it talks about "Basic education" that is a must for all.

If I get a chance to implement free, basic and elementary form of education, I would personally go to each and every slum area located around Kolkata region and find out if the poor children are really getting access to education or not.

I would speak up with the local ministers at state level to ensure that the education of these children are not neglected by putting them into any job during their schooling age.
