IF GLASS IS MADE OF SAND WHY ISN'T IT BIODEGRADABLE WASTE???

Most commonly, people are referring to a soda, lime, silicate glass that is used to make windows, bottles, incandescent light bulbs, and other consumer items. These types of glasses can weather over time but are not biodegradable as the normal meaning implies. They are not harmful to the environment
