No, people wouldn't believe that it is real. God is nothing but perfection but we have became so imperfect that we will not believe it is true. People have lost faith in god. Even if god was standing in front of us and saying that he is god, no one would believe. They will he is someone playing a prank.

I think you have seen the people worshiping the gods in the Temple . We just respect God's statues or idles very much then it is very hard to imagine to see God with our own eyes .
We could not even believe our eyes . And I don't think God will reveal themselves very easily .And some people would even need a Proof to Accept as the real God . The is only a single God and he has an INNUMERABLE forms and even Imagining the World without God is just 100% IMPOSSIBLE.
