If gravity is intrinsically so weak compared to the strong force, why do we say that gravity rather than the strong force keeps the planets in orbit around the Sun?

It is the gravitational pull of the sun that is the reason for the planets staying in fixed orbits
If it was a very strong force like electromagnetic force the planets would have been moving gradually towards the sun and in sometime the planets would have gone into the sun
