given

If  half times of a number is subtracted  from twice of that number the answer we  will get is 10 more than the original number

To Find :-

The number

Solution :-

Let the number be y

When half time subtracted from twice

\bf 2y - \dfrac{y}{2}

When 10 added

\bf y +10

\sf 2y -\dfrac{y}{2} = y +10

\sf \dfrac{4y- y}{2}=y+10

\sf \dfrac{3y}{2} = y +10

\sf 3y = 2(10+y)

\sf 3y = 20 + 2y

\sf 3y-2y=20

\sf y =20
