If HCF and LCM of two numbers are respectively 1 and 1801 number 8 then find the other number

Answer:

We know that H.C.F×L.C.M=product of the numbers.

Let x be the other number

⇒8×48=24×x

⇒24x=8×48

⇒x=248×48=8×2=16

∴ the other number is 16
