Helen keller contact with her mother through signs of communication like a head node means yes , push suggests to go ,pull suggests to come shaking of head means no if she wants icecream then helen will shiver or shows signs of working of refrigerator and helen learnt early mide of communication from her mother only. Helen mother was helen's first teacher.
