when urine is allowed to stand for sometime the urea in it decomposes to form Ammonia.

• human urine is comprise mainly of water and waste material like urea .
• when urine stands for sometime ,it provide time to bacteria present in water to react with urea .
• which leads in conversion of urea into ammonia.
