Cardiac output-

• stroke volume*heart rate =cardiac output
• heart rate is the count of numbers of times a heart beats per minute.
• the amount of the blood pumped out by the left ventricle of heart in one contraction is known as stroke volume.
• therefore the amount of  blood hearts pumps through the circulatory system in a minute is known as cardiac output.
