if i= root - 1 then show that (x+1+i) (x+1-i) = x^2+2x+2​

(x+1-i)(x+1+i)

((x+1)-i)((x+1)+i)

(a+b)(a-b)=a^2-b^2

so (x+1)^2-i^2=x^2+1+2x-(i^2)

i^2=-1

so ans is x^2+2+2x
