Hey

The given equation is :-

2x² + kx - 6 = 0

one root is 2 .

So ,

putting the value of x ,

2 ( 2 ) ² + k ( 2 ) - 6 = 0

=> 8 - 6 + 2k = 0

=> 2 + 2k = 0

=> 2k = -2

=> k = -1

thanks :)
