if I say the distance formula AB=√(x1-x2)+(y1-y2) then it is wrong or right​

It's wrong.

Because the distance formula is

\sf d = \sqrt{ (x_2-x_1)^2 + (y_2-y_1)^2}

The distance formula is derived from the Pythagoras theorem.
