if i take 2/5 of a no. and add 2 to it i get 8 . the no. that i took is?

The no. u took is 15 .
2/5x +2 =8
2/5x=8-2
2/5x=6
x=6×5/2
x=3×5
x=15
2/5x +2 =8
2/5x=8-2
2/5x=6
x=6×5/2
x=3×5
