If you want to pursue a career in computers (either hardware or software), taking computer science group will prove to be very helpful in your undergraduate studies and in your career as you will have 2 years to get the basics of a programming language. Also you need not worry about coding in any other language since dedicating 2 years for a programming language will make you understand the syntax very easily.
From my personal experience, I have seen many people struggling with programming since they didn’t opt for computer science in their 11th.
Another advantage of taking CS group is that, in your UG, you can dedicate your time learning some other language or doing some projects/research work.
