Explanation:

A historian is a person who studies and writes about the past, and is regarded as an authority on it.[1] Historians are concerned with the continuous, methodical narrative and research of past events as relating to the human race; as well as the study of all history in time. If the individual is concerned with events preceding written history, the individual is a historian of prehistory. Some historians are recognized by publications or training and experience.[2] "Historian" became a professional occupation in the late nineteenth century as research universities were emerging in Germany and elsewhere.

Answer:

I would like to study the medieval period as in that period a lot of historical things happened. In this period, a lot of historical incidents happened. Like British invaded India. My sources will be the records made by British generals ,governors and vicoroys.at this period I will also like to study about the 1st and 2nd world wars and for this my most important source will be notes and commands of the officers  and dairies of citizens and soldiers, this will also allow us to know about the treatment of soldiers and citizens. I would preserve my findings in libraries and making copies will also help.

                                                            Thank you
