If in a DNA molecule cytosine is 18% the percentage of adenine would be? How to solve this question?

A+G+C+T=100%
as C=G=30%
A+30%+30%+T=100%
A+T=40%
as A=T
A=20% and T=20%
Therefore adenine would be 20%.

and as cytosine and guanine makes up the 30 % of the of the total of the bases present in the DNA

then we can say that Adenine and thymine are equal to each other

they are 40 % collectively so individually they will be 20%.
