(mv^2)/2 = 41.8 × 10^3 × 4.184.
v^2 = 174891.2 / 800 = 218.614.
Therefore,
v = 14.7856 m/s^2.

YashP9494: Is it correct?
thermodynamics1: i have written the question wrong...instead of 4.18 kcal it will be 41.8 kcal
YashP9494: Oh no....hahaha
thermodynamics1: u can solve it again
YashP9494: Is it correct now?
thermodynamics1: no the anwer is not matching with my book
YashP9494: Oh sorry, I forgot to multiply with 2...
YashP9494: The answer should be 20.91 m/s

Q=1/2mv^2

Q=41.8*4180=174724J

174724=1/2*800*v^2

v^2=436.8

v=20.9m/s

which is the answer
