If it's written " a student is not able to see words written on a black board clearly FROM a distance of 3m " Then what type of defect is the child having...?

Its obviously Myopia....


3m is not a close distance...

Hence the answer is short sightedness(myopia)..

srishtisuvi: But if he can't see a distance of 3m then doesn't it mean he'll have to shift his near point a little further

The child is having an eye defect called myopia. He can see nearer objects properly but cannot see distant objects distinctly. (hope you did well in exam).
