Plasma. Plasma is the liquid component of blood, in which the red blood cells, white blood cells, and platelets are suspended. It constitutes more than half of the blood's volume and consists mostly of water that contains dissolved salts

Answer: The two components of blood are White blood cells and Platelets.

White blood cells are also called as leukocytes. They play significant role in the immune system of the body. They are mainly divided into two categories i.e granulocytes ( Neutrophils, eosinophils, basophils, and mast cells) and agranulocytes ( lymphocytes, monocytes, macrophages, and dendritic cells) .

Platelets are also called as thrombocytes. They play significant role in the clotting of blood.
