Answer :-

\:\\\large{\underbrace{\sf{Firstly,\;let's\;understand\;the\;concept\;used\;:-}}}

Here the concept of Volume of Cuboid has been used. We see that we are given the dimensions of the sweet box. Now we can find its volume to find the space occupied by the box. Thus we cab get our answer.

Let's do it !!

Formula Used :-

\:\\\large{\boxed{\sf{Volume\;of\;Cuboid_{(sweet\;box)}\;\;=\;\;\bf{Length(L)\:\times\:Breadth(B)\:\times\:Height(H)}}}}

Question :-

If length, breadth & height of a sweet box is 4.5 cm, 3 cm & 2 cm then what is the space occupied by this box ?

_________________________________________________

Solution :-

Given,

» Length of the sweet box = L = 4.5 cm

» Breadth of the sweet box = B = 3 cm

» Height of the sweet box = H = 2 cm

~ For the Space Occupied by the Box :-

\:\\\qquad\large{\sf{:\Longrightarrow\;\;\;Volume\;of\;Cuboid_{(sweet\;box)}\;\;=\;\;\bf{Length(L)\:\times\:Breadth(B)\:\times\:Height(H)}}}

\:\\\qquad\large{\sf{:\Longrightarrow\;\;\;Volume\;of\;Cuboid_{(sweet\;box)}\;\;=\;\;\bf{4.5\;cm\:\times\:3\;cm\:\times\:2\;cm \:\;=\;\;\underline{\underline{27\;\;cm^{3}}}}}}

 \:\\\large{\underline{\underline{\rm{Thus,\;space\;occupied\;by\;the\;sweet\;box\;is\;\;\boxed{\bf{27\;\:cm^{3}}}}}}}

 \:\\\large{\underbrace{\sf{Let's\;understand\;more\;formulas\;:-}}}

Volume of Cube = (Side)³

Volume of Cylinder = πr²h

Volume of Hemisphere = ⅔ × πr³

Volume of Cone = ⅓ × πr²h

Volume of Sphere = (4/3) × πr³

Question :

If length, breadth & height of a sweet box is 4.5 cm, 3 cm & 2 cm then what is the space occupied by this box ?

Answer :

Given,

  • Length = 4.5 cm
  • Breadth = 3 cm
  • Height = 2 cm

To find,

  • Space occupied by the sweet box.

Formula used,

  • Volume of cuboid = Length \times Breadth \times Height

Solution,

We have to find out the space occupied by the sweet box, so here we used "Volume of cuboid" formula.

\implies Volume of cuboid = Length \times Breadth \times Height

\implies (4.5 \times 3 \times 2) cm³

\implies 27 cm³

Therefore, The space occupied by the sweet box is 27 cm³
