Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

L=1.5CM

B=50CM

TSA=5.5SQ

          5.5/(100*100)

            0.0005CM

TSA=2(LB+BH+LH)

Given:

Length of cuboid = 1.5 cm

Height of cuboid = 50 cm

Surface area of cuboid = 5.5 m

To Find:

Find the breadth

Solution:

Length of cuboid = 1.5 cm = 0.015 m

Height of cuboid = 50 cm = 0.5 m

Let the breadth of cuboid be x

Surface area of cuboid = 2(l+b)h

Surface area of cuboid = 2(0.015+x)(0.5)

We are given that surface area is 5.5 sq.m.

So, 2(0.015+x)(0.5)=5.5

\Rightarrow 0.015+x=\frac{5.5}{2 \times 0.5}\\\Rightarrow x=\frac{5.5}{2 \times 0.5}-0.015\\\Rightarrow x =5.485

Hence The breadth is 5.485 m
