If length of a rectangle is 3 times its breadth, find the expressions for its perimeter and area, given that the
breadth is b cm.​

Answer:

length = 3 breadth

l= 3b

perimeter = 2l + 2b

= 2( 3b) + 2b

= 6b + 2b

= 8b

area = l x b

= 3b x b

= 3b²
