the value of log_{10}(1/70) = -(a + 1)

it is given that log(7 on base 10) = a

we know, log_a(1/b)=-log_ab

we have to find value of log_{10}(1/70)

= -log_{10}(7\times10)

= -log_{10}(70)

we know, log_a(mn)=log_am+log_bn

=- (log_{10}7+log_{10}10)

= -(a + 1)
