if m+1/m=p-2 then proved that m²+1/m²=p²-4p+6​

this is the answer in

M + 1/m = p - 2

Now square on both sides

(m + 1/ m)^2 = (p - 2)^2

m^2 + 1/m^2 + 2(m)(1/m) = p^2 + 4 - 4p

m^2 +1/m^2 + 2 = p^2 + 4 - 4p

m^2 + 1/m^2 = p^2 - 4p - 2
