HI !

p(x) = 2x² - 4x + 1

m and n are roots of p(x)

sum of roots = m + n = -b/a = -(-4)/2 = 2
product of roots = mn = 1/2

to find ,

(m+n)² + 4mn

(2)² + 4 × 1/2
4 + 2 = 6

(m+n)² + 4mn = 6

okay..
comparing the given equation with ax^2+b^x+c=0...we get,
a=2
b=-4
c=1
now,
sum of roots(m+n)=-b/a=2
product(m.n)=c/a=1/2
now,
(m+n)^2=2^2=4
4mn=4*1/2=2
so the req. andwer is:
4+2=6(ans)
....
mark it as the brainliest answer please

NLep1: watt???? not mine...
Tazeenfathima: sorry i will ask another question that time ok
Tazeenfathima: solve the equation by using quadratic equation formula : x^2-4x+12=0
NLep1: its easy..
NLep1: ask it in
Tazeenfathima: tell me plz
